Gagliasso Wine Art

I'm Pilar Gagliasso Barnes, a self taught watercolor artist who began painting with wine two years ago. By aging small portions of wine in my paint palette, I create my own liquid watercolor-like paint with various wine varietals. Most recently, I have been experimenting with stout beer and love how the warm brown stout complements the pinks, reds, and purples of the wine. Creating my own paint allows me to be a scientist and an artist!
