Photography – San Diego
Galia Venguer is a skilled photographer based in downtown San Diego. She was raised in Mexico City and has studied and worked internationally, completing her B.A at the Iberoamericana University in 2008. She has somewhat of a gypsy soul and in recent years it has taken her from Mexico City to Florence to New York City to Boston and finally here to beautiful San Diego.
Her work has been exhibited internationally and she says that every project is in some way a representation of who she is. Many of her pieces touch upon two main themes: the innocence of a child and the things which we often repress as adults. Overall, she loves to experiment and is somewhat known for making a mess in the process of creating her shoots. She strives to transform the items that we use in our day-to-day lives, into truly unique and unforgettable pieces.
