Visual Art – Vancouver
Gayle Arnold was born in 1987 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Arnold graduated from Emily Carr University of Art and Design with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in 2009.
Following University, Arnold dove into Art full-time. She developed her gestural and colouful painting style by focusing on the human body and face. Her work has been exhibited in Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal. Although the majority of Arnold\'s recent work is figurative, her work has never been restricted to one genre of painting.
During her time working as a professional artist, Arnold began to alter her process to be eco-friendly. By reducing waste and using second-hand materials, she hopes to bring life to objects that were otherwise seen as disposable.
