Visual Art – Denver

I am a southern born artist, that learned from my grandfather and my schooling at the University of South Carolina. In school I loved to work in neoclassical style working primarily in graphite. On my last project of my senior year of college, I went back to a doodle that I made in high school of a cartoonish octopus. This octopus was Tango, a four tentacled runt of the litter that I have loved drawing ever since. I started making more characters and building a new cartoonish style. Lately I have started to blend the two styles together to have these cartoon illustrations with more dramatic lighting akin to a Caravaggio painting.
