Photography – Salt Lake City
Urban/Street Photographer. About a year ago I bought a camera and fell in love. I had simultaneously started a journey of sobriety. I fell in love with photography at a time when I desired a creative outlet and needed to love something that was not another human being. The past year has been transformative in ways I never expected or knew possible. It has opened a door to a whole new world of experiences for which I am very grateful. I have been able to seek my own style of photography in order to translate my experiences and vision into the visual medium of photographs and videos. I have experimented with all forms of photography but have found street/urban to be my calling. On of the iconic photographers of our time, Peter McKinnon, put it best: "Street photography is the Wild West. Theres no rules. It encompasses all other forms of photography in one.".
