Zara is an artist and designer born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. She moved to San Diego in 2014 to pursue her love for the sun and an artistic creative life. Aside from her love of painting, she also enjoys yoga, cooking, dancing, being in nature, and traveling anywhere she can. These motifs are frequently present in her artwork. Themes in her art usually center around love for nature, mental health and female empowerment. The Groovy Palettes brand was born out of her obsession with color, organic shapes, and hippie culture. She provides creative services such as murals, live event painting, body painting, custom canvas and digital commissions, and original art. Her mission is to bring joy, conversation, and connection to the world through her art, making the world a brighter place one brush stroke at a time.
