Hanna Leka

Hello! My name is Hanna Leka, and I am an Orange County/Riverside/LA based photographer who specializes in portrait photography. My background within the arts began as painting and drawing, and later branched out into photography during my junior year in high school. My inspiration to begin came from two friends I had at the time that had photography as a hobby. I was too intrigued to not try it myself. I began my digital journey humbly on my little iPhone 6 at the time, capturing every moment I deemed beautiful. That consisted of food I was making, cars driving down the streets, and my younger brother pretending to use a phone. I would play with lights and colors, simply enjoy the images that I would later edit on my VSCO app. Today I currently am studying at UCR, studying Anthropology. With my Canon DSLR camera, these beautiful moments that I so eagerly try to find have allowed me to discover more and learn more about the beauty of people. I would only hope to use my artistic efforts in combination with humanitarian works in the future, allowing me to travel and capture the hidden gems of humans in which the world is yet to find out about. I love to continuously strive to capture the beauty of the individuals that God so wonderfully has taken His time on, inside and out, and to illuminate that beauty to the world.
