Visual Art – Raleigh
I am an artist that focuses deeply on the connection to ones past as a vector for conveying meaning in the present. My heritage plays a major role in the works I make, being Half-Chinese and Half-Caucasian provides a unique outlet for expression that I have taken pride in. Growing up in a Western culture, while still well exposed to an Eastern practice, has given me a perspective in life and in art that has brought me more joy than I can imagine. I am trained in printmaking, digital illustration, and traditional/abstract Chinese calligraphy. I hope you see what I see.
