My name is Heather Hitchman,I\'m a digital media artist, with a passion for art & story telling. My work exudes eclectic, fantasy, and sometimes macabre themes through the modern interpretation of digital art. My work is often described as \"fairy tale\" like and I couldn\'t be prouder! Be it a logo,portrait, or illustration, I believe all imagery has deeper meaning, & it\'s up to the artist to successfully tell the story. My study and practice of multiple mediums gives me a deeper understanding of the principles of art & design. My Passion for digital art began as a child when I started drawing my own anime characters in MS Paint....WITH A MOUSE! Once I got my first (post card sized) Wacom tablet and copy of Photoshop I couldn\'t be stopped. Working with digital media opened doors to study not just illustration, but animation, video, graphic design, and eventually 3D modeling in college. As a freelancer I enjoy jumping between the different programs and incorporating elements from each area of study together. Though these days my business is primarily Illustration, I have some big personal projects in the works that will showcase the potential these mediums have to work together to tell unforgettable stories. My specialties include Digital Illustration, Portraits, Conceptual Art & Character Design, Logo Design, Tattoo Design, and Graphic Design, and Motion Graphics.
