Herisa the Traveler, is a Boston-based international spoken word artist, public health leader, and curator whose poetry weaves together wellness, global curiosity, and cultural storytelling. She is the creator of House Poetry with Herisa and the visionary behind Breathe, Speak, Thrive, a transformative workshop experience that uses spoken word and mindfulness to combat burnout and cultivate Black joy. A co-host of four Juneteenth celebrations in Madrid, Spain, and a Mass Cultural Council Creative Individuals Grant recipient, Herisa’s work spans continents and centers healing through art.
