Creating eccentric, imaginative works of art is my way of communicating an integral part of my being to the greater world population. Stimulated by the demented yet humorous universe that exists deep in the recesses of my mind, my work is highly palatable with a bitter aftertaste. I channel my focus into intense color schemes and patterns, and a high level of detail combined with youthfully cute illustrations. This may appear sweet at first glance, however, I am continually striving to reach a level of dark and grotesque meaning behind the coy figurative elements of my work. This contrast between bright and dark, sweet and demented, playful and deadly, creates the visual tension that I am continually trying to push for in every piece I produce.
