Lori Hollifield

I graduated with a degree in Illustration from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI in 1997. After working for a handful of years in the video game industry as a Concept Artist in Salt Lake City, UT, I began losing focus on what made me love at in the first place. I took a decade away from art but am getting back in the saddle. I work part time as the HR Coordinator for LightBox Interactive and paint on the side. I\'ve been working with wine and bleach, watercolor and gouache on illustration board. I recently had a piece showcased at UrbanSkep\'s BYOBeard gallery showing in Austin, TX and received an Honorable Mention. What a thrill after being away from the craft for over a decade to be so warmly received! I plan to open an Etsy shop in the coming months to sell prints of my work and would like to continue submitting my work for gallery shows in the Austin area.
