Photography – Northern Rivers
David Young has lived and worked in London, Sydney and for the past 20 years, in Byron Bay. He was formally trained in London and has over 25 years’ experience as a professional advertising, editorial and arts photographer.
David has been producing photographic fine art imagery since before his commercial photographic career began. Over this time he has produced many award winning images and spanned the gap of commercial and art photography.
Today’s imagery has transpired from his hard edged, architecturally inspired, abstract photographs, into a softer and more sensual style that includes nudes, landscapes, portraits and abstracts.
His current direction reflects the desire to project some mystery, beauty and sensuality into the images that he creates as well as a strong sense of design and sometimes a wry humor.
