Visual Art – Philadelphia

Allison Scalera received her BFA in Visual Arts, concentrating in Design, from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, in 2016. During her studies in visual arts, Allison’s work incorporated a variety of print, digital, and interactive installation elements stemming from an interest of art & design.

Beginning her work freelancing for the Mason Gross School of the Arts on various design projects and showcase work has paved the path toward Allison’s more recent artwork spanning from digital design, illustration, and animation. Combining skills in visual art and design, her innovative approach to abstract figure art explores new dimensions informed by the movement of modern dance. Her artwork has been featured in various exhibits in the greater Philadelphia area.

Allison is currently a designer at halfGenius in Philadelphia, PA. She contributes to design elements of various client work including web design, video animation and editing, as well as lead designing a series of digital, print, and out-of-door advertising campaigns.
