Visual Art – Columbus

Ever since I was an ornery adolescent I have used artistic expression as a way of dealing with whatever happened in my life good or bad. But it was during the bad times that I realized what a powerful set of skills I had really developed. Scribbling original rap lyrics into my notepad or dripping my brain into my sketchbook, I found absolute freedom.. And from there I never looked back. I dropped out of New Albany High School my senior year motivated by the knowledge that with a GED and an awesome portfolio, I could get into the Columbus College of Art and Design and take control of my own destiny in my own way. Against all odds, I have excelled through art school with no financial help or guidance, driven by my dream of honing my craft until I am a ruthless force to be reckoned with on a professional level. I am a major in illustration with a minor in fine arts and I put my heart into every piece.
