Wild Strawberry Moon

Hi, my name is Angela Vart Shilling I am an Ojibway artisan from Mnjikining First Nation. I have lived in Toronto since 1990. Through my work, I mix both traditional and modern elements using bone, leather, wire, feathers, beads, as well as semi-precious stones. My signature pieces include dreamcatchers, bone chokers, and tree of life pendants. As an Indigenous artisan, honoring traditional ways of creating has been a healing and therapeutic journey and a lifetime passion that has been passed down to my children. They are all grown up now and I honor them for they have been such a big part of Wild Strawberry Moon Designs' sustainability. The creator has gifted us with creativity, peace, and joy through art.
