Eames

Derek Albert Schurbon, professionally known as Eames, is an American music producer, songwriter, film composer, and drummer based out of Charlotte, NC. His debut studio single, ‘Die 4 U’, released September 7, 2018 followed by his second single, ‘Feel’, an instrumental, future bass track, released shortly afterward on October 5, 2018. His third single, ‘Always Find U’ was released on February 22, 2019 but shortly after was taken down to re-release with Circulate Music on May 3rd, 2019. Previously Eames has toured with indie-pop artist Betty Who, remixed songs for indie artist Brayton Bowman, scored films for director Jakub Blank, and more. His music covers many genres in his work and has been influenced by many producers and artists alike, across all genres and decades, such as: Flying Lotus, J Dilla, B. Lewis, Flume, Mura Masa, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Chet Baker, Frank Ocean, Ariel Rechtshaid, and more.
