Barbara Simmons - I DID That Art Studio

"I DID That?" That was my response when I began getting serious about my painting in January of 2019. I completed a dvd series by Gayle Leversee, titled, "Learn and Master Painting." It was a great stepping stone to understanding hues, gradations, and composition, to mention a few topics. I had previously completed some "Wine and Canvas" events, and then my sister and I began painting and giggling every Tuesday, evolving from Bob Ross tutorials to Wyman Studio dvds, and finally coming up with our own ideas and styles. I also joined my local "Art Center of Battle Creek" in January of 2019. Classes there have helped me so much to hone my skills. I am enjoying every minute of my time, and more and more often as I complete a piece, I say to myself... "I DID That!!!"
