If Anything

If Anything started out as 3 good friends Ryan, Jeff and I(Derrick) jamming music together for fun in our living room. There wasn\'t a set routine or formula. We\'d just free flow on guitars and occasionally Ryan would hop in and freestyle lyrics. It got to a point when we noticed things were coming together very nicely. Songs stuck in our heads and the thought of it put you in this state of groove. It was an overwhelming feeling that we couldn\'t deny. We were creating music and enjoying it. We were jamming more and more than we realized, wow we\'ve created several songs. We decided to take the next step and perform our originals around town at several open mic nights that were being held. One open mic to the next we were performing and loving it. Not only were we having fun and enjoying ourselves the music was being received very well. We garnered so much support from other friends/artist we\'ve made a long the way. To be in that environment and see other artist perform inspired us even more. Our love for music and our appreciation for the different genres/artist is what keeps us together.
