Indie Bindi was started by Katrina Ranchod, a business graduate from the University of the Pacific. Being an Indian woman born and raised in the United States - she grew up surrounded by both the American and Eastern Indian customs. The world of fashion became so intriguing to her, because it created a platform that allowed Katrina to express herself, through the clothing she wore.
The idea for Indie Bindi was inspired by Katrina’s desire to create outfits that were not only unique, but a beautiful fusion of elements from different cultures! And because many of the outfits are created in sets, you are able to mix-and-match different pieces together, for brand new looks! Katrina truly believes that Indie Bindi is a physical representation of self-empowerment, diversity, and the intricate depth that culture brings into this world. When you wear Indie Bindi, we want you to feel great, inside and out!
