Visual Art – New Orleans
Mississippi born and raised, but left to see the opportunities the bayou would offer in Saint James Louisiana with its rich culture and eye for art. I dabbled in art school while in Mississippi and have previously done a couple showcases there, but had not had the opportunity to present myself to the local artist scene in Louisiana yet. Currently working at a local Gonzales, LA. mom and pop coffee shop, whipping up coffee as well as selling my art there out of recycled materials from the business, from different teas and coffees we serve. I found a way to join my job with my passion for art as well as my passion for reusing materials and recycling to create fun new mediums. I work in other mediums as well, as I prefer to do mixed media, but my favorite medium to work with is water color and ink aside from teas and coffee. I enjoy creating beautiful things out of what others consider to be trash.
