Melissa Rohr

I\'m Melissa, an illustrator with an affinity for octopuses. Primarily, I work with watercolor and ink, but also enjoy charcoal, oil pastel and digital media. In addition, I like experimenting with photography, book-binding, wood-burning and sculpture, as well as the book format. I graduated in May 2012 from Columbia College Chicago with a BFA in Illustration. Most of my illustration work is whimsical, and focuses around nature and animals. I really enjoy working with the book form, and have created several illustrated story books and coloring books. I am currently located in St. Louis, Missouri. I run an online store, attend local art festivals and do some freelance illustration.
