Visual Art – San Francisco

Much of my earlier work is based on the physical expression of the human form caught for a moment in a state of emotional intimacy. Lighting, skin tones, rich color, facial expression and movement all play a seductive role in this tale. In the last few years my new found love of aerial movement has given way to connecting the desire to fly with the physical beauty of the human form in dance. Hence, my interest in birds and feather magic has taken my work on a whole new journey. I have found myself pulling more from our feathered friends as they come to me in dreams and visions. Each bird has it’s own unique attributes, skills, and gifts. In some pieces I combine the feathered and earthly bodies in a dance of their own. While, other pieces seem to be solely about the individual bird and the magic it has to offer. I certainly create out of my own personal quest to convey the struggles and triumphs of my own experience. I believe that my imagery reveals universal states of emotional being that connect us all, skin and feathered alike. My work reflects the desire I have to put my visions into a tangible form so that others can also benefit from these inspirations. Please visit my web site innerluna.com to see more. . .
