Intuitive Strokes

My name is Joi Thomas and I am a oil painter, curator, storyteller, and activist. My artist name, Intuitive Strokes, explains my style and grace as I glide my brushes across the canvas. Each piece that I produce represents where I am on my journey. Literally and figuratively. As I heal from past traumas and generational curses I document my emotions, lessons, and new understandings in each painting. My art is ME. I am an eclectic artist. From storytelling exhibits, short films, and theater I have no restraint to what art I make. Along with my art, I founded a Non-profit Artuition (Artist Intuition), which delivers Art, Yoga, Vegan food, and Resources to undeserved communities. All of my hope is in the Next generation and I want to change the direction within the city to focus on Dallas 50 years into the future. Which, to me, starts with the youth.
