Photography – Phoenix
My name is Iris and I am in love with the human soul. I grow up spending most my time in a dance studio, in an art room, and as hopeless romantic searched for anyway to translate feelings without words. At a young age I realize I was going through the motions of life and not enjoying and seeing the present time and appreciating it for all that it is. Perfection became an illusion and having 4 beautiful children, I didn't want them to lose site of themselves trying to please others... Photographing the detail of the simplest of things ultimately makes us feel emotion and connects to life. We find connection with others and we paint a vision through our own eyes. My goal is to create a story with each photograph which in turn creates a memory that I can share with others. My translations of what i see will always differ from the next person but it will create a sense of being. Passion is something I live by and without passion I wouldn't be who I am, a mother trying to get it right while inspiring my children to always do what makes them happy.
