There are no truer words that Blake evokes through his artistry of Black consciousness than those spoken above. He is a self taught Artist who Produces thought provoking art. The foundation of his multi faceted creativity, is his inability to fall short in projecting realism through his quintessential talent. He’s adamant of continuing the dialogue of prosperity through adversity and deliberately parallels your own self tribulation through, at times, controversial portrayals in order to exude the beauty of one’s individual journey.
Born with an innate “creative gene”, Blake gains inspiration from any and all surroundings. “I’ve always liked the idea of seeing or hearing something for the first time, and loving it. Then, when you see or hear it for the second time, you experience something completely different.” he admits. He paints with the motive to reveal a personal perspective that allows the viewer to truly establish their own emotion derived from their distinct experience. Its Just Blake intentionally instills a necessity of reflection through visions of masterfully crafted imagery.
