Visual Art – Charlotte
Graphic design student and fine artist attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I have been an art student my whole life which evolved into my gravitation toward graphic design. As a trans artist and designer my work revolves around the existentialism of human journeys, thoughts, personhood and identity. Both political and autobiographical elements imbued throughout my work tell my own perspective, observations but also serve as a commentary where academic language and words are harder for me to express. It is through fine art that one sees layers of mediums translating thoughts into actions by usage of collage, painting, drawing, intaglio prints and other materials. I am a Charlotte native and have plans after graduation of pursuing a career in design within the categories of editorial, package, product, and website design.
