Photography – San Diego

Born and raised in France in a very artistic family, I moved to San Francisco at the age of 22, in search of adventure and broader horizons. I have been a resident of Leucadia, a small beach town north of San Diego, for over 30 years. Since 2004, I have been taking pictures of mannequins living behind store windows in major European and American cities. I use the reflection off the glass. They are not montages, but single shots right out of my digital camera. This series has become a significant body of work and it is still evolving. I am now creating the "frames" that surround my photographs, using mixed media, found objects, and digital media, making each image a unique art piece.
