Jan Neil is a contemporary Australian artist currently based in Brunswick Melbourne. Since moving to Melbourne in 1981 she has exhibited works regularly within Australia and internationally. Her inspiration is gleaned from nature, urban street art and graffiti. Her practice primarily, is painting. She combines painting with digital art, found objects and photographs. The combination of mediums is exciting and inspirational, providing continuous flow of new ideas and combinations.
Vanessa Neil is a multidisciplinary visual artist who has exhibited both nationally and internationally for the past 20 years. Raised in a gallery from an early age, her creativity and love for colour was nurtured by the workings of her mother, artist Jan Neil. After spending eight years in America running galleries and being involved in street level philanthropic events, she moved back to Melbourne to focus on her creativity. Today she has reinvented herself by creating colourful wearable art, unique bags, one-of-a-kind hats and accessories.
