Jaqualine Hall

Visual Art – Raleigh

My name is Jaqualine Hall and I currently live in the beautiful state of North Carolina. I create paintings on paper using vivid pigments of India ink and gouache. My process is constantly playing around with form and color, creating an atmospheric composition. I enjoy experimenting with different mark making techniques and frequently stain my hands in the process (so long nice manicure.) I earned a BFA and graduated with honors from Weber State University, located in northern Utah. My emphasis of study at the time was figure drawing and printmaking, it wasn't until the last semester before getting my degree I completely emerged myself into abstract expressionism. Shortly after, I moved back to my home state of North Carolina and have continued to grow and develop my process.
