J. Carpentier

Jennifer Carpenter was born in Portsmouth, VA and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Longwood University in 2002. After several years of success in the business world, Jennifer’s dream of designing resurfaced. She was selected to participate in the Fashion Design program at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Los Angeles, CA and received a degree in Fashion Design in 2008. Since then, Jennifer has designed for Scala Eveningwear, BG Haute, and Ludus Athletics, where she was Vice President. J. Carpentier is inspired by the strong independent, fashionable woman who is not defined by how she looks but by her attitude: assertive, sexy and stylish. She is captivating, chic and exudes confidence. The J. Carpentier line is a contemporary collection including casual to sophisticated daywear and eveningwear. Jennifer’s twin sister Mindy recently joined the J. Carpentier team and the sisters now collaborate creating the perfect designs.
