Performing Art – Boston

Jenny Chu grew up in a small town in Massachusetts called Randolph. She started dancing when she was 8 years old and was originally trained in Jazz and Tap through the Sherry Gold's School. As she attended university to pursue her career as a pediatric nurse practitioner, she expanded her dance training in a myriad of styles including Urban, Latin, Afrobeats, and Heels. For the last few years she was deeply involved with Revolve Dance Crew and MIT's Ridonkulous performing at shows like World of Dance Boston, Prelude New England, and Funk'Tion. As she stepped away from the crew scene, she currently is a resident dancer at Scorpion Bar and Royale. She also started her own heels classes in hopes of inspiring her students to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. Throughout her dancing career, she realized how dance has made such a powerful and positive impact in her life. Dance has brought so many amazing experiences and people in her life that she wants to create a safe, welcoming, and uplifting space for her community. She aspires to empower her students and provide a safe space for them to express themselves without any inhibitions.
