Jenna Lee Mason

I graduated from Wheaton College in Norton, Ma (Class of ’08), where I earned my Bachelors degree in art. Since 2009, I have been recording my dreams and finding inspiration through the metaphorical imagery that fills my mind. My fine art photography is a series of self-portraits in which I alone design the sets, props, make up, and final product. This process helps me to develop the self-discipline needed to seek knowledge of the inner self and to learn my craft. Each image marks a different stage in my life and a psychological or spiritual feeling I have experienced. I change and grow and my art continues to change with me. During my preparation and shoot, I enter a relaxed and positive creative state where I feel grounded and most connected with my existence. For this reason, I love to be a physical part of the art. My work fulfills my life, creating a sense of acceptance and love for myself, those around me, and my reality as I perceive it. I hope I can inspire others to take the time to look inwardly as well.
