Photography – Chicago
Jennifer Romero is a Chicago based photographer that has been practicing photography for over twelve years. She completed her schooling at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design where she discovered her creative self and earned her BFA in Photography and minor in Communication Design.
Jennifer utilizes the ability to manipulate her photographs in camera and post shooting to create the appropriate aesthetic for the particular piece. This manipulation brings forth the mood of the work, making it both visually engaging and mentally impactful.
She has also experimented with installations and mixed media, incorporating other materials along with her photographs to further her intent. This need to manipulate is a tool she has embraced that has given her work direction and has allowed her aesthetic to flourish.
