Hello, My name is Jhon Catano and I am on the verge of graduating with my BA in commercial photography. I am 22 years old and I am obessed with what I do. I live it and try to breathe is as much as I can. My work is best described by my artist Statement which is as follows: These images explore the realm of feminine sexuality and empowerment through the style of fashion photography. Masculine sexuality has been more accepted and tolerated in imagery, in particular fashion imagery. I am attempting to give the female form the sexual power through assigning her the dominant role within the image. I employ unusual props and scenarios in order to attempt to push boundaries on the visual and sexual levels. I want to blend bad taste with good taste, as we are never attracted by perfection; we find it banal, in the end.
