Art is its own high. I\'m addicted to the buzz of creativity. I love to see art in motion with the skin as a canvas. The contrast between the color palate and skin tones naturally draws the eye. I\'m compelled to live in the moment through the connection to the subject I\'m painting and the fleeting impermanence of the piece. My body art is pretty \"out of the box\". Maybe it\'s more like leaving the box a flat, crumpled heap in the rear view mirror. :-) I travel and paint pretty exclusively at music festivals, primarily throughout the Northeast but Occasionally down south as well as to the west Coast and most recently started working an annual music event in Costa Rica. Sometimes I even have the privilege of seeing my art being worn on stage during a performance by an amazing musician. My family often travels with me and my four children, who range in age from 19 to 9, practice various art forms from fire spinning to drumming. My 15 year old daughter often paints with me.
