Joana Simmons

Hailing from New Zealand, Joana Simmons has performed around the world, including at Shakespeare\'s Globe theatre in London, the World Gymnaestrada in Lisbon and Austria and the National Danish and German Gymnastics festivals. She trained full-time in dance and Musical Theatre at Jason Coleman\'s Ministry of Dance, and since living in Melbourne, Joana has danced at the TV Logie Awards, Falls Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Rainbow Serpent Festival, Fringe Festival, presented for Channel 31 and Underground Melbourne. She got to the semi-finals with Miss Friby in Australia\'s Got Talent and was assistant director for her show-Two Pound Parlour. Joana has presented for C31 and Underground Melbourne and is looking to take her presenting, writing and hosting further, preparing her own show in November and in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. When she is not performing and writing, Joana teaches and choreographs dancing for a variety of levels including community and corporate workshops.
