Photography – Perth
Hi all. My name is Julie and I am a Perth based freelance photographer specialising in portraits, events and sport.
I started my business in 2008 and feel so blessed to wake up to my job each and every day. The great Kahlil Gibran said that ‘Work is love made visible’ and I hope that this is reflected in my images. I prefer a more ‘photojournalistic’ style, as I love capturing those moments that cannot be staged… those natural, spontaneous moments that capture real human emotions.
My background is actually in Psychology and I think that it has helped me a lot when it comes to connecting with and understanding people. I shoot everything from portraits to families, weddings, sporting events, commercial photography and special occasions and landscapes are something that I love to shoot on the side.
My main passion and love, however, is portraiture and natural light photography is what I love the most.
