Addison Kanoelani

I am a new graduate from Brigham Young University, Idaho. Where I received my Bachelors in Art. I\'ve been doing art as long as I can remember. I started painting though in high school and oil painting is what I love most. I paint mostly portraits because I feel like every face has a story to tell and it\'s not always about just capturing every detail but capturing the right emotion that detail emanates so I can get the story right. I LOVE doing public events,such as murals or live paintings. While oil is my main medium I love getting out of my comfort zone and using others such as water color, charcoal, photography and graphic design. And I have been experimenting a lot with spray painting. I just love the subliminal messages only art is capable of sending. Picasso once said, \"Art is not truth. It is a lie that makes us realize truth.\" (FYI: One of my displayed paintings is a Master Copy of a painting by Alphonse Mucha. I am not claiming it to be mine).
