Kate Beck

Kate is a lettering and illustration artist who loves bold colours and weird and wonderful things. She currently works with digital art, lino cut prints, gouache, and risograph printing techniques. Kate is a third year English major at the University of Calgary, but she has been lettering since before she knew what lettering was. She is inspired by media that she loves, vintage design, books, and most of all fabulous and fantastical words. When she is not at school or drawing you can find her at home enjoying a book or a TV show with her family and their three spunky terrier mixes, Bailey, Luna, and Scout.
