Visual Art – Adelaide
Born and raised in Adelaide, Australia, Kelly has been painting since childhood. Having a full time job consulting in the health sector, she has used art primarily as a way to foster her creativity and achieve a work-life balance. Painting allows her to express her quirky nature, and exercise her creativity productively.
Kelly's medium of choice is primarily acrylic paint, but she also uses gouache, pastels and ink markers to achieve vivid results that are heavily complimented but not widely marketed.
Animals are Kelly's primary subject matter, but it is the use of colour that draws the attention. Her pieces are all bright statement images with contrast and texture that draw the eye and bring a smile to the face.
