Visual Art – Melbourne
I began my career in tattooing by producing Tattoo Flash Art sheets for a local tattoo studio, whilst I completed my Fine Arts Degree at South Australian School of Art. I graduated with honours in 1996, and commenced my tattoo apprenticeship in 1992. During my 4 years of university and 7 years of service at my first studio, I have worked alongside several talented artists in the tattooing and fine arts communities, and I’ve since owned and operated several shops throughout Australia.
Through over 20 years of experience as a tattoo artist and painter I have found specializing in Abstract impressionist Drawing and Painting style and tattooing. I continuously drawing inspiration from the other artists I get to work with, from all over the world. I currently am studying at RMIT in my masters year and I constantly paint at home. Visual art is my passion, as well as my own form of therapeutic relaxation as im a revovering adict II never stop producing artworks, and in recent times I have noticed that through my social media presence I am quickly generating interest in my paintings and drawings.
I find myself painting more and more these days, producing around 1 painting a week and exhibit two to three times a year. I am looking for a permanite gallery to sell my work from and draw attention to my social media activity, I have been selling my works to local gallery owners and art collectors. I’ve worked and trained under some amazing Australian artists such as Brett Whiteley and Pro Heart, two amazing men that had a huge influence on my art and life. Through the deep love and passion which I hold for the Arts, I strive to achieve my greatest masterpiece every single time I put paint to canvas, thusly expressing and materialising my abstract artistic ideas. The never-ending core of my inspiration to create artwork is the inevitable emotional turbulence of life.
