KIANA EBONÉ is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. She began her training at 3 years old. Studying with Stephanie Powell at Baltimore Dance Tech from the day of its opening in 1999.
In 2009 she moved to Washington, DC to attend Howard University where she continued her dance training. Over the years she has had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Kim Bears-Bailey, Ray Mercer, Hope Boykin, and countless others. She has also had the opportunity to intern with the Dallas Black Dance Theatre as well as Atlanta Dance Connection. In May of 2013 she graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts.
She has since moved back to Baltimore where she teaches dance within Baltimore City Public Schools, as well as in studios across the city. She can often be found as a guest choreographer or performer across the country. Most recently she choreographer for Stirring the Waters Across America at the Kennedy Center, which will begin touring in 2020. Her schedule is jam packed, but full of projects that she absolutely loves!
