Kid @ Heart

My biological name is Juane (Ja Juan) Pruitt. I was born and raised in the heart of the ghetto, South Central Los Angeles. Growing up wasn\'t easy because often times the streets tried to consume me, but I used my passion for football, my interest in art, and my determination to make it out of the streets. I attended San Jose State University, and graduated with a BS in Recreation and a Minor in Communication Studies. In the future I plan to go back to school to pursue a teaching career. Through teaching I hope to inspire and empower students to obtain a higher education. I’m going to paint my legacy, by leaving my mark in art, my print on a canvas, so when people look they say, \"now that\'s a MASTERPIECE.\"
