Visual Art – Philadelphia

Since moving to Philadelphia, I have experimented with working in different mediums, different techniques, and finally my ideas came to fruition with Styrofoam carving. A technique I learned in my 3-D Design course in undergraduate school. Once complete, the piece is painted to achieve a metal-like surface, to resemble aluminum, bronze or gold. I currently teach humanities and foundation courses at the University of Phoenix, in Philadelphia, where I hold the position of Area Chair/Lead Faculty in the Humanities and Science Department. Along with creating art, I also have an online business where I create scarves for dogs, known as Pittie Puffs. Partial proceeds go towards Philadelphia animal shelters, rescues, and fosters.
