My journey to visual art started as a Pastry Chef! While working in a kitchen full time, covered in flour every day I found out I have celiac disease which meant I couldn't be covered in flour every day. Having several autoimmune diseases & other complications comes with physical pain. I decided to try anything, besides drugs, to alleviate pain. Among the many was painting, besides art classes in culinary school & the magic I can make with a piping bag, I didn't think of myself as an artist. That was until I started to get my hands dirty & put paint to canvas. Not only did painting start to help manage the pain it was exciting to create these beautiful & interesting pieces!!!
