I am a Las Vegas based jewelry designer. I am passionate about creating hand crafted jewelry pieces that showcase my sharp sense of humor and passion for sparkle. I think my wholesome midwestern roots coupled with nearly a decade of living in Sin City have shaped my edgy design aesthetic. I grew up in Chicago and studied Biology at Northeastern Illinois University. After several years working in the Las Vegas nightclub industry I found myself craving an outlet for my creativity. It turns out that creating jewelry is not only inspiring, but also therapeutic. My jewelry making began with re-stringing pieces of broken jewelry handed down from my mother and grandmother. After my friends made habits of stealing my hand crafted baubles, I decided to make jewelry as gifts for friends and family. This hobby quickly evolved into a business idea and Rhinestones and Razor Blades was started with just a few tools and some fabulous beads. I now spend my weekends shopping for beads and experimenting with new materials for fun and fresh jewelry designs.
