Fashion – Los Angeles

I've been obsessed with fashion for as long as I can remember. I was picking out my own outfits before I could talk and learned how to sew when I was 8 years old after realizing I was bored with clothing in mainstream stores and had my own ideas of what I wanted to wear. Needless to say, I always wanted to be a fashion designer. I began taking fashion design and patternmaking classes in high school and obtained my bachelors degree in fashion design in 2006. In 2008 I moved to Los Angeles to begin my career as a fashion designer. Since then I have worked for a wide variety of companies and had the opportunity to see my designs in stores like Nordstrom and Urban Outfitters. Now I have two of my own clothing lines - AllAlong and L.Alien. AllAlong is high-end contemporary womenswear, which I showed at L.A. Fashion Week in 2016, and L.Alien is a fun collection of t-shirts, streetwear, and casual clothing. L.Alien is a concept I came up with as soon as I moved to L.A. when I realized I was surrounded by millions of people from all around the world with creative dreams and aspirations like me. All of the clothes are produced right here in L.A. and inspired by the people of L.A. who strive to make their creative passions their way of life.
