Kyla Heumann

I started drawing just two years ago at a time when I was going though some tough life challenges and had to find a way to get though nights of insomnia. I started with drawing portraits as gifts to family and friends. In late 2015 I moved to South Africa, which was the inspiration behind the bulk of my portfolio to date. After a year spent in Africa, I recently returned to my home in Colorado, and I expect my work going forth will be more north America inspired. Since I first picked up the charcoal two years ago my art has been very limited. However, I'd really like to find out if interest in my work might expand beyond friends and family. I would love for this hobby to evolve into something more.
