Visual Art – San Francisco

Born in Germany, raised in the Bay Area, I make art at home and abroad. I studied art at Parsons School of Design and graduated with a degree in Geography from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. I seek to build bridges between the dualities that present themselves in our lives, such as the desire to travel and wanting to build community at home. Or tension between the natural world and the developed one. I have embraced big city living in NYC and smaller communities in Washington and New Mexico. My artwork is an exploration of interconnection between seemingly disparate concepts. Using both figures and geometry I create bright portraits of the intersections of ideas, images and stories. I am currently pursuing international residencies, group shows and mural opportunities. My dream is to paint around the world.
